Vector Converter

What is it?
Vector Converter transforms a row-column table (of 0's and 1's) into an E42 file. For example, a row-column table can become a boolean landscape (as if generated by an eefer) that has R attractors each with only 1 node and each with cycle length, L = C. After the conversion, the artificial boolean landscape is entered into Meta-TAO or into the Basin Finder tool. The tool can also transpose the row-column table so that an artificial landscape with R attractors each of L=1 is generated.

What's New?
-
Vector Converter v1.20 (11/02/07)
-
Additions:
- Key Feature ~ Show Frequency Results - If the frequency results checkbox in the top right of the applet is selected, a results frame appears after conversion displaying the frequency of diseased genes versus the total count for that gene.
-
Vector Converter v1.10 (10/31/07)
-
Additions:
- Unique Vector - A checkbox at the top of the applet that tells the converter to limit vector conversion to unique vectors only, ignoring duplicates.
- Key Feature ~ Transpose Vector - Checkbox at the top of the applet that tells the converter to transpose the vector. That is, instead of creating a 1 node length N basin, transposing the vector will create a N node length 1 basin.
-
Fixes:
- Basin Names - When missing or blank data was read in by the converter, the basin numbering was being offset; the display basin name and actual basin name were different.
