FFT has been selected as a "Best Practice" program (under different labels) by various national organizations (Centers for Disease Control, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, Center for Study and Prevention of Violence, Center for Substance Abuse Prevention; CDC, OJJDP, CSPV, CSAP respectively). These organizations independently have reviewed some 500 programs available to youth, and have identified only ten or so programs which qualify as empirically supported, rigorously evaluated, and independently replicated. |
