Statement |
My empirical work examines the attitudinal
and motivational underpinnings of proenvironmental behaviors. I work
at the interface between theory and application. For example, I have
done extensive field research on neighborhood and university recycling
using self-concept, behavioral self-regulation, and persuasion concepts.
In my current work, I am developing a multi-level intervention program
for pesticide reduction. I work with local agencies, such as health
departments and transportation offices who need to implement persuasion
and behavior change programs.
