The virtual desk has many uses. First, it is an interface to the knowledge and information presented in this class. Second, it gives you the freedom to do what you want, when you want. And third, it gives you access to the other interfaces and resources available to you.

The desk will consist of different objects which provide links to the course materials. There will be a Work and Learn link, an Interactive Learning link, a Communications center link,a check Grades link, an Important Resources link, and a link to the Ducks in a Row interface.

Having access to these vital areas of the course is important, and the desk not only gives you the access, but allows you to freely explore the course without a strict guideline.
