You can do your work in this class in three very different
ways. We have called these ways of interacting with this online
course Desk, Ducks, and Menu. Which you
use depends on what you like. They all work. You can use any
one or go back and forth between them.
The Desk is a virtual learning environment which simulates
the kind of desk you might study at. You can personalize your
virtual desk to have the look you want. You can change its
look at any time. When you build your desk you put various
objects on it (phone, books, lamp, etc.). You can initiate
any of this course's learning activities, communications,
games or other resources by clicking on an object on your
virtual desk.

It's up to you to click on any object and initiate any activity
you want. You have the freedom to work on anything, anytime,
in any order.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to make a desk, what
it does, and how you can use it to get the most out of your
Psych 3000 online course.
